Hailing from Madison, Wisconison, Golden Donna is the alias of producer Joel Shanahan, whose acclaimed releases on experimental US imprints 100% Silk and Not Not Fun take influences from house, disco and techno, warping them into frenetic and unpredictable new forms.
Performing live as part of a cross-European tour, Golden Donna will be joined by labelmate James Booth, previewing new material that delves into similar psychedelic dancefloor territory. Further support comes from Melodic Records’ signing Howes, who will be DJing a unique set of cerebral sounds and influences.
